The triathlete Héctor Guerra, sponsored by The Big Blu, won the 2015 Lisbon Triathlon that took place in the Portuguese capital last May 2.

Héctor Guerra arrived alone to the finish in 3:43 after 2 km of swimming, 90 km cycling and 21 km running  across the Parque das Naçoes.

In the female category, the winner was the swiss triathlete Simone Brandli, with a time of 4:17:01. The spanish triathlete Natalia Raña was third with a time of 4:31:52.

More than 1,200 registered athletes this year have participated in the this Triathlon, which marks the start of the season for many of them.

The Lisbon Triathlon annually attracts more spanish participants because its a fast circuit, which has an excellent organization with ten years of experience and with facilities that can enjoy the participants and their families.





Big Blu is one of the scientists sponsors of Great Tuna Race, the most important competitive program of electronic tagging in Europe, where you capture, tag and release giant tuna according to the ICCAT guidelines (International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tuna).

The first day of program will take place from 16 to 17 May in Blanes (Girona).

The Great Tuna Race aims to promote the values of respect for the environment, uniquely combining science, research and sport, being a pioneering model of citizen science applied to the oceans.

Thanks to Consignaciones del Mar, a Confremar Group company, will have the best bait for fishing during program.
